Reviews and Ratings
I recently had a Sunday lunch experience at Tyrrells Ford, and I must say it started off on a high note with a warm welcome from Sarah, the owner. The service was friendly and attentive, but the food quality left much to be desired. While some dishes were enjoyable, others were underwhelming and definitely not up to par. The ambiance has a charming old-school feel, but the decor could use a refresh to match the excellent service we received.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel, enjoying a delightful Sunday lunch that featured beautiful food and generous portions. The staff were welcoming and took great care to ensure everything went smoothly. The room was a bit dated but clean and spacious, offering a charming touch. However, the plumbing could use some attention, which was a slight downside. Overall, it was a pleasant experience in a lovely garden setting.
I had mixed feelings about my visit. While the location is stunning and the atmosphere relaxing, the dining experience left much to be desired. I found the food quality disappointing, and the service could have been better. However, the friendly bar staff was a highlight and made the visit a bit more enjoyable.
My stay at Tyrell’s Ford was a mix of delight and a few disappointments. The cleanliness and ambiance were standout positives. However, the rooms were a bit tired, and I struggled with the heat during my stay. Dining was decent but not exceptional, and breakfast left a bit to be desired. Overall, a cozy spot with potential, but it could use some updates.
I had a lovely family meal here and truly enjoyed the warm hospitality from the owners, Mark and Sarah. The food was fantastic and freshly sourced, but I did notice some inconsistency in quality during my visits. Overall, this place seems to have the potential to be a great dining spot, but there’s room for improvement in maintaining food quality and service consistency.
